Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Stylist to engage with guests, consult on hair care needs, and recommend products and services. You will deliver high-quality professional services and support the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager with a focus on performance, guest service, and procedures.

The role requires a passion for beauty, excellent guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge. Must have a Cosmetology license and prior salon experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in hair services including design, cuts, color, texture, treatments, styling, updos and extensions.
• Ability to perform makeup applications and ear piercing where applicable.
• Strong guest service and sales skills focused on driving service and retail revenue.
• Willingness to stay informed about beauty trends and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform hair services including hair design, cuts, color, texture, styling, updos, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing where applicable.
• Meet or exceed sales and productivity goals for hair services and contribute to store goals.
• Demonstrate business acumen and drive growth opportunities.
• Support in-store events and marketing initiatives to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Follow Ulta Beauty policies and safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.
