Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a General Manager to lead a single-store operation with full responsibility for sales, service, and expenses. You will build a high-performing team, uphold Ulta’s standards, and drive guest experiences across makeup, skincare, and salon services.

You will oversee staffing, training, and succession planning, while ensuring compliance with policies and store safety. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 3-5+ years of fast-paced, retail management or other relevant work experience.
• Financial management: drive top-line sales, interpret reporting data, manage payroll budgets, and control expenses.
• Retail management: monitor inventory, achieve operational excellence, drive a service culture, and execute merchandising directives.
• Leadership management: attract, develop, and motivate top talent, adapt to change, and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of accountability to meet or exceed store goals across retail, service, payroll, omni-channel, and shrink.
• Drive profitability through operational excellence, top-line sales growth, and expense control.
• Leverage forecast and payroll budgets to schedule the right associates at the right times.
• Address issues identified in financial and operational reporting and audits to protect profitability.
• Lead development and training of managers and associates to enable growth and performance.
