Job summary

Metasys Technologies is seeking a talented Designer to develop concepts and packaging for Beauty, Fragrance, and Body Care. You will take designs from concept through production, ensuring alignment with brand identity and seasonal trends, with collaboration across marketing, product development, and production teams.

The ideal candidate brings 4–6 years of graphic/packaging design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong portfolio showing packaging and graphic design work.
• Ability to translate trends into creative designs.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize and develop design solutions for Beauty, Fragrance, and Body Care collections.
• Translate fragrance stories and consumer insights into distinctive packaging and product designs.
• Develop cohesive design systems across multiple product formats, ensuring consistency in color, typography, graphics, and visual storytelling.
• Support the creation and execution of designs from initial concepts through final production.
• Create design turn overs (DTOs) and finalize artwork for handoff to production and cross-functional teams.
• Review mechanical artwork and production files to ensure design accuracy and provide final approval before release.
• Develop concept boards, mood boards, design presentations, and visual storytelling materials.
• Research emerging trends across beauty, fragrance, wellness, lifestyle, colors, materials, and packaging.
• Explore innovative graphic treatments, decorative techniques, materials, and finishes to enhance consumer experience and product presentation.
• Provide approved designs and creative direction to mechanical art and production teams for technical specifications.
• Collaborate with Design leadership, Packaging Engineering, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and other cross-functional teams.
• Participate in store visits, competitive research, and consumer insight activities to understand evolving beauty trends and customer preferences.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
