Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, drive sales, and maintain store standards. The BA greets guests, conducts makeup applications, answers questions, and supports in-store events.

This role requires a passion for the beauty industry, strong guest service, basic technology familiarity, and the ability to work with teammates. Full-time and part-time benefits apply; pay ranges from $16.00 to $20.00 per hour, with overtime eligibility depending on law.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales and shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service, answer questions, inform about promotions, and recommend products/services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges; assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analyses, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events.
• Stay informed about new products and communicate benefits to guests.
• Maintain regular attendance and store cleanliness.
