Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, perform cashier tasks, keep fixtures stocked, and maintain store cleanliness while supporting sales goals and in-store events. You will greet guests, assess needs, demonstrate products, book services, and stay informed about new offerings to help guests discover beauty solutions they love.

This role requires a friendly, team‑oriented attitude with a flexible schedule, including weekends, in a full‑time retail

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent education and experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Greet and engage each guest, tailor service to needs, answer questions, inform about promotions, and recommend products/services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events to deliver guest experience and sales goals.
• Stay informed about new products and services and know ingredients/benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment and collaborate with store team.
