Job summary

Sally Beauty Holdings, LLC is seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Sales Associate/Beauty Advisor in Belleville, IL. You will help customers with hair color, cosmetics, skin care, and nails, providing expert guidance and building lasting relationships.

Training is provided to empower you to assist and educate customers throughout their beauty journey. The role offers a range of schedules to fit diverse needs, opportunities for growth, and access to product discounts and samples.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
• Must be available to meet the scheduling needs of the business.
• Able to communicate with customers, co-workers and management in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to execute knowledge from product knowledge training to support with customer service.
• Can read and explain product labels.
• Can follow direction and perform other duties as assigned by Manager.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships and inspire loyalty.
• Recommend additional and complimentary products.
• Inform customers of current promotions and events.
• Set up advertising displays and arrange merchandise to highlight sales and promotional events.
• Ensure our customers are informed about and enrolled in our Loyalty program.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a professional store environment and communicate inventory issues.
• Demonstrate our Sally Beauty Culture Values.
• We have a range of different working schedules and hours to suit everyone’s needs.
