Job summary

THG Beauty is hiring an Assistant Buyer to support the growth of premium product assortment across Dermstore. You will partner with the category Buyer to manage SKU sets, ensure pricing and content accuracy, and optimize brand pages to showcase hero products and newness.

In a fast-paced, high-velocity environment in New York City, you will coordinate samples, GWPs, promotions, and provide admin support for meetings and sales reporting, using strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• 4-year undergraduate degree required.
• 0-1 years of relevant experience in retail, buying, or e-commerce.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end product assortment for the assigned category.
• Own the accuracy and optimization of the product catalog, including pricing, content, and images for setup and launch.
• Edit and refine brand pages for key vendors to highlight hero products and newness.
• Identify and lead optimization projects for product pages and attribution to maximize site conversion.
• Secure samples and GWPs from vendors and coordinate promotions with marketing and planning teams.
• Provide executional support for buy plans, SKU audits, discontinued inventory management, and brand trainings.
• Analyze competitor performance and industry trends to uncover white spaces and opportunities.
• Maintain vendor communication and support category meetings and sales reporting.
