Insight Global is seeking a highly organized Category Specialist to join the Beauty & Personal Care Merchandising team. This role partners with category leadership to drive growth, manage assortments, and support planograms and in-store merchandising initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in merchandising/analytics, strong Excel skills, and a detail-oriented, deadline-driven mindset. Compensation ranges from $24-30/hr with opportunities for growth in retail strategy and leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CPG, retail, merchandising, buying, category management, or analytics.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Partner with merchandising leaders to execute category strategies for sales growth and margins.
• Assist in managing product assortments across brands and categories.
• Support planograms, shelf allocation, and visual merchandising.
• Coordinate new product introductions, transitions, and discontinuations.
• Analyze category performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Support planning and execution of promotions and marketing campaigns.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and promotional compliance across locations.
• Prepare vendor meeting materials with category insights and assortment recommendations.
• Ensure projects meet timelines and launch deadlines.
