Job summary

West Coast Tanning, Inc. is seeking energetic individuals for entry-level Salon Consultant roles in California. The position offers a dynamic, professional salon environment ideal for team players who enjoy working with people.

Initial pay is $21 per hour with quarterly increases up to $25, plus $800 monthly bonuses and commissions on product, package, upgrades, and memberships. Benefits include 401(k), health, dental, vision, and employee discounts, plus complimentary Diamond Salon Membership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales goals daily/weekly/monthly.
• Hire and train Salon Consultants to help achieve salon goals.
• Maintain a positive, fun, and professional salon environment for your employees and clients.
• Consults with customers in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Educate customers on safe tanning practices and retail items.
• Maintain a clean and organized salon.
• Opening/closing business.
• Daily administrative paperwork, and goal tracking.
• Walk customers to their rooms and teach them how to use the tanning equipment when they have questions or are first time users.
• Attend Off Site Sales and Job Trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be able to stand, bend, walk for long periods of time, for 7 hours per day
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance
• Reliable transportation, flexible availability including nights and weekends
