Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to create exceptional guest experiences in store, assist with services, and drive sales while maintaining store standards. You will engage guests, perform makeup applications and skincare analysis, and help with events and promotions to deliver an outstanding beauty experience.

The role requires a passion for the beauty industry, strong customer service skills, and the ability to learn product benefits and ingredients to better assist guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Greet and engage guests, personalize service, answer questions about products and services, and promote promotions.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and services to better serve guests.
