As a Beauty Advisor for Maison Francis Kurkdjian at Saks Fifth Avenue, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand and providing exceptional customer service. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and sell Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances while fostering strong client relationships and achieving sales targets.

Job Responsibilities

Sales and Customer Service:

• Proactively engage customers to introduce and present Maison Francis Kurkdjian fragrances.
• Provide personalized fragrance recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.
• Offer product knowledge, including details about fragrance notes, ingredients, and the brand's heritage.
• Utilize effective selling techniques to meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Create a memorable shopping experience that leaves customers delighted and eager to return.
• Maximize brand engagement throughout the Beauty department as well as outside of Beauty in both stores.
  
  

Client Development:

• Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service and relationship-building efforts.
• Keep detailed records of client preferences and purchase history, including sending thank you notes and samples when appropriate.
• Initiate follow-up communication with clients to inform them of new arrivals, promotions, and special events.
• Develop and execute strategies to attract new customers to the fragrance counter.
  
  

Product Knowledge and Training:

• Stay up to date with Maison Francis Kurkdjian's fragrance collections, ingredients, and industry trends.
• Back stage App courses downloaded and kept current.
• Participate in brand-provided training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Educate colleagues about Maison Francis Kurkdjian products and brand values.
  
  

Visual Merchandising:

• VM standards as set by Maison Francis Kurkdjian always followed and maintained.
• Assist with all VM updates and replenish testers as directed by Maison’s standards.
• Maintain clean and organized workspaces.
  
  

Administrative Tasks:

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and report restocking needs.
• Ensure optimum counter coverage by adhering to scheduled hours in the women’s and men’s stores.
  
  

Profile

2+ years of prestige fragrance sales and clienteling experience Ability to effectively manage customer expectations and build loyal customer relationships. Excellent organizational skills Superior written and verbal communication skills Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Knowledge and passion for luxury fragrances and the beauty industry. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-end retail environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Willingness to learn and adapt to new products and selling techniques.
