Job summary

Ulta Beauty is hiring a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences in our Houston store. You’ll greet guests, assess needs, demonstrate products, and support sales goals while keeping the store inviting and well-stocked.

Preparation includes product knowledge across makeup, skincare and services, plus flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Previous retail or beauty experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and engage guests to determine needs.
• Perform cashier tasks and handle transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock fixtures; assist with on-line orders.
• Conduct makeup applications, skincare analysis and product demonstrations.
• Book appointments and support in-store events to drive sales.
