Nordstrom Beauty is seeking a passionate advisor in Costa Mesa, CA to create personalized beauty experiences for customers. You’ll engage clients, perform makeup applications, and drive sales through in-store and digital channels while staying on top of the latest beauty trends.

Qualifications

• Passion for customer service and beauty, including trends, makeup application and skincare.
• Ability to connect with customers and proactively address concerns.
• Empathy and respect for all customers during makeup and skincare sessions.
• Strong multitasking, organization and follow-through skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Able to work standing for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds when needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses to advise on products.
• Collaborate with the team to create an inclusive shopping environment.
• Set and achieve sales goals with in-store and digital selling tools.
• Book appointments and drive sales for in-store events and services.
• Maintain a customer-ready department through organization and cleanliness.
• Stay updated on beauty trends and brand knowledge via trainings.
• Manage sales, refunds, exchanges and build Nordstrom Rewards accounts.
