Job summary

Ulta Beauty is seeking a Beauty Advisor to deliver exceptional guest experiences in-store. You will greet guests, identify their needs, perform makeup applications and skincare analysis, and advise on products and services to drive sales.

You will also assist with in-store events, manage appointments, and help keep the store clean and stocked while learning products through ongoing training and brand education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service and engage each guest to determine needs.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales.
• Book appointments for services and in-store events.
• Maintain store cleanliness and keep fixtures stocked.
• Assist with online orders and returns/exchanges as needed.
• Support leadership and participate in trainings and brand education.
