Ulta Beauty is recruiting a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience, perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations while supporting service and sales goals. The role facilitates appointments and events, staying informed about products and promotions to assist guests effectively.

Applicants should have a high school diploma (preferred) and about a year of relevant experience, with strong customer service, tech, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest, personalizing service to their needs, answering questions, informing guests about promotions, and recommending products and services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and guest experience.
• Book appointments for and support services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed about new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients and benefits.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
