Job summary

Ulta Beauty in Seattle seeks a Beauty Advisor to deliver an exceptional guest experience by engaging each guest to determine needs, conducting cashier tasks, keeping fixtures stocked, and maintaining store cleanliness. The BA supports leadership in service, sales, events, and guest relations, while learning product knowledge.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Demonstrates a passion for guest service and competency for selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink.
• Ensure that each guest receives exceptional service by greeting and engaging each guest and recommending products/services.
• Handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with on-line orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events.
• Stay informed about new products and communicate benefits to guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
