Job summary

Ulta Beauty in the United States seeks a Beauty Advisor (BA) to deliver an exceptional guest experience, perform makeup applications and skincare analysis, and support store leadership with service and sales.

The role requires a passion for beauty, strong guest service, and the ability to learn product knowledge; a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends is required. Full- and part-time benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferred.
• Passion for guest service and selling.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, omni-channel sales, and retail shrink as set by Ulta Beauty for the store.
• Greet and engage each guest, personalize service to their needs, answer questions about products and services, inform guests about promotions and sales, and recommend complementary Ulta Beauty products/services.
• Courteously handle customer service, sales, refunds, and exchanges and assist with online orders.
• Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations with guests to drive sales and guest service experience.
• Book appointments for and support the execution of services and in-store events delivering a superior guest experience while meeting sales goals.
• Stay informed regarding new and existing products and services and be knowledgeable about ingredients/benefits to better serve guests.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
