Job summary

Ecumen St. Benedict's Community in St. Cloud, MN is seeking a Beautician to deliver hair, skin and nail services to residents, enhancing their appearance and well-being while maintaining all licenses and safety guidelines.

This casual position offers flexible hours based on resident needs. You will set appointments, collect payment, discuss care plans, keep work areas clean, and document services accurately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current certificate confirming completion of a cosmetology program.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Adherence to safety rules, HIPAA, and facility policies.

Description

The Beautician is responsible for a wide range of services that include the care of hair, skin and nails. This position is responsible for improving the client’s outward appearance and helping them feel better about themselves while maintaining all required professional requirements, licenses and/or certifications and following all safety and health guidelines.

Schedule :

• This is a casual position. Available hours will fluctuate based on current Resident/Patient needs and census.

The targeted pay range for this job is $19.50 - $22.50 per hour.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Current certificate confirming the completion of a cosmetology program
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy, HIPAA, Resident’s Bill of Rights, Universal Precaution, AWAIR, OSHA, Right to know, SDS, ADA, HUD Policy and Procedures, Fair Housing laws and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Senior Care Experience
• Hands on training necessary as part of a certificate program as well as on-the-job training
