Job summary

Arcadia Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation in Coolville, OH is seeking a licensed cosmetologist to work as an independent contractor in our facility. Nursing home experience is preferred but not required, and flexible hours are available.

You will schedule residents for hair services, maintain shop equipment and sanitary conditions, and coordinate with nursing staff to ensure resident safety and wellbeing in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed cosmetologist in Ohio (required).
• Experience in nursing home/long-term care settings preferred.
• Flexible part-time hours and independent contractor role.

Experience And Skills

• Schedule residents for and provide hair care services.
• Maintain beauty shop equipment in good working order.
• Maintain sanitary conditions consistent with state and local regulations applicable to beautician/barber services and long term nursing care.
• Notify administration and nursing staff immediately of incident or injury sustained by resident, visitor, or team member that occurs in the beauty shop or in the course of providing beautician/barber services.
• Obtain the assistance of a member of the nursing staff when transferring non-ambulatory residents in or out of equipment chairs.
• Never leaves a resident unattended.
