Richland County School District One BROCKMAN ELEMENTARY in Columbia, SC is seeking a Bears Aftercare Director to manage the aftercare site, oversee staff, and ensure a safe, engaging program for students.

The role requires strong leadership, data reporting, and collaboration with families and school administrators. The hourly position supports the afterschool program and operations.

Competenze

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma.
• Must be able to work from 1:30 pm until the last child in afterschool leaves.
• Possess excellent communication, supervisory, administrative, and fiscal management skills.
• At least six months experience working with youth in a classroom, after school, or recreation environment.

Job Description

Bear Aftercare Director
Hourly/Temporary
Hourly Rate: $25 (hourly rate if internal candidate)

Job Function
The Bears Aftercare Site Director will be responsible for maintaining the coordination, implementation, and administration of our aftercare program. The Site Director is responsible for the collection of program data, providing reports for compliance, and assisting with administrative support. A Site Director's ability to establish authority through leadership, communication, and most importantly patience, will be required in giving our students the stability and nurturing atmosphere they need to succeed.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a high school diploma
• Must be able to work from 1:30 pm until the last child in afterschool leaves
• Possess excellent communication, supervisory, administrative, and fiscal management skills.
• At least six months experience working with youth in a classroom, after school, or recreation environment.
• Basic Microsoft Office experience preferred
• Maintain a weekly control system which includes monitoring of billing and payments
