Richland County School District One BROCKMAN ELEMENTARY - Columbia, South Carolina is seeking an Instructional Assistant for Bears Aftercare Classified Staff. The position is full-time with an hourly pay rate based on the district scale.

The role supports teachers with instructional delivery, attendance tasks, data management, and parent communication, under the supervision of the Lead Teacher. FLSA is non-exempt and duties include general classroom support and other assigned tasks.

Qualifications

• Assists Teachers and Lead Teacher with instructional delivery and assessment.
• Assists with operational tasks (snack distribution, collection of attendance reports, copying).
• Prints reports for teachers, lead teachers and parents.
• Maintains accurate student and group data.
• Reinforces all knowledge and skills taught by the classroom teacher.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Assistant duties supporting classroom instruction and assessment.
• Administrative support including attendance reporting and copying materials.
• Data maintenance for students and groups and reporting to teachers/parents.
