Job summary

US Synthetic in Orem, UT is seeking a Shipping Clerk with Bearings QA Inspector responsibilities. You will perform final visual and sharp-edge inspections, apply laser markings, polish with Vapor Hone, and prep parts for Finished Goods inventory.

The role requires a high school diploma and basic computer skills, with preferred experience in quality inspection and lean problem solving. You’ll work in a safety-focused, team-oriented environment with day shift hours and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Prior quality inspection or related experience preferred.
• Able to apply analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge encouraged.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection including sharp edge inspection and complete visual inspection of product.
• Identify marking requirements from print, shipper card, and setup sheet.
• Operate laser marking system and update marking profiles.
• Polish product using Vapor Hone wet blasting system.
• Process parts through washing, drying, WD-40 bath, and final boxing.
• Identify box label requirements and print correct templates.
• Identify proper packaging requirements.
• Identify and prep parts for laser welding process.
• Enter parts into Finished Goods or Post Processing Purchase Order Request and into Quality Inspection systems.
• Maintain tracking and data logging spreadsheets in QA area.
• Process quality returns and coordinate with production.
• Support lean improvements and standard work updates.
