Job summary

Stanly Ranch, Auberge Collection in Napa Valley is seeking a dedicated Server Assistant to join the Auberge family and support the service team in delivering exceptional hospitality. You will help set up and clear tables, deliver beverages, and assist guests throughout the dining experience.

The role requires a current Food Handler's Card, alcohol training certification, and strong English communication. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is essential, and prior back server experience is

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler's Card is required.
• RBS - Alcohol Training Certification is required.
• Prior experience as a Back Server is preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, arranging utensils, plates, and glassware, and removing used items promptly to maintain a clean dining area.
• Assist servers by delivering beverages, refilling drinks, and ensuring guests have a positive dining experience.
• Assist guests as needed, answer questions, accommodate special requests, and ensure guest comfort.
• Collaborate with servers and restaurant staff to ensure efficient service, relay guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to meet standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including wiping tables, chairs, and surfaces and following food safety protocols.

Job Description

Join our team as a Server Assistant and become part of the Auberge Family, where your attentiveness and teamwork will elevate every guest's visit. Supporting our service team, you'll ensure smooth operations, anticipate needs, and create memorable moments for patrons, leaving a lasting impression of exceptional hospitality.

• Assist in setting up and clearing tables, including arranging utensils, plates, and glassware, and removing used items promptly to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
• Assist servers in delivering beverages to tables, refilling drinks as needed, and ensuring guests have a positive and uninterrupted dining experience.
• Assist guests as needed, including answering questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring their comfort throughout the dining experience.
• Collaborate with servers and other restaurant staff to ensure efficient service delivery, communicate guest requests or feedback, and coordinate tasks to meet service standards.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surfaces, and ensuring adherence to food safety protocols.

The starting range for this position is $17.40 an hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications

• Current Food Handler's Card Required(withing 30 Days of Hire)
• RBS - AlcoholTraining Certification Required (within 30 Days of Hire)
• Prior experience as a Back Server preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs
• Ability to communicate in English
