Job summary

Dandelion Chocolate in San Francisco's Mission District is seeking a Pastry Assistant to support beverage and pastry production at our 16th Street Factory and cafés.

You will learn our bean-to-bar recipes, prepare batters and doughs, and work with a tight, friendly team led by the executive pastry chef Lisa Vega. Weekend availability and a year-long commitment are preferred; shifts are 4:30am-1:00pm and 7:00am-3:30pm.

Qualifications

• At least one year of pastry experience.
• Weekend availability and full-time (35+ hours/week).
• Passion for chocolate and pastry.
• Commitment to a drama-free, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batters, doughs, cakes, and ganaches for hot chocolates and daily production.
• Follow daily production assignments and maintain cleanliness.
• Maintain hygiene practices and assist with other tasks as needed.
