Qualifications

• VMware experience
• Oracle database administration experience
• Active Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance and US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 2 support for system problems, performance deficiencies and anomalies
• Track, assign, troubleshoot, fix and close trouble tickets and new requirements
• Prepare systems for security accreditation
• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux and Solaris OS, patches and service packs
• Perform user account, group, and directory maintenance with ISSM/ISSO coordination
• Review security, network, and system auditing; remedy anomalies
• Draft, edit, and maintain local SOPs
• Analyze and resolve problems on Windows/UNIX servers; uphold security guidelines
• Prepare, test, and implement scripts to automate tasks
• Perform system backup and recovery with network backup software
• Assist with Secure View server/workstations
• Identify and resolve security issues
• Provide test/evaluation support and reports for new technology
• Attend meetings and provide minutes/reports
• Provide system architecture acclimation to government personnel
• Provide weekly status reports to government task lead
