Job summary

Health Data Movers is seeking an experienced Beaker Analyst to support Epic Beaker labs for healthcare clients. You will design, build, and test lab workflows from design through go-live and post-live support.

Requirements include 2+ years with Epic Beaker (AP/CP) and Beaker certification (current or eligible). You will collaborate with lab, pathology, and clinical staff, ensuring seamless interfaces and go-live success.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test lab workflows, including specimen collection, order sets, resulting, and lab interfaces.
• Partner with lab, pathology, and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic build.
• Support system testing, validation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide go-live and at-the-elbow support, troubleshooting workflow issues in real time.
• Maintain build documentation and adhere to client change control processes.

Role Description: Health Data Movers (HDM) is looking for an experienced Beaker Analyst to support build, configuration, and optimization of Epic's Beaker (Laboratory) module for our healthcare clients, from design through go-live and post-live support.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and test lab workflows, including specimen collection, order sets, resulting, and interfaces with lab instrumentation/reference labs
• Partner with lab, pathology, and clinical stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into Epic build
• Support system testing, validation, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
• Provide go-live and at-the-elbow support, troubleshooting specimen and resulting workflow issues in real time
• Maintain build documentation and adhere to client change control processes

Required Experience

• 2+ years of experience building and supporting Epic Beaker (AP and/or CP)
• Epic Beaker certification (current or eligible for recertification)
• Experience with specimen collection, resulting workflows, and lab interface builds
• Strong communication skills for working with lab, pathology, and clinical staff

Preferred Experience

• Dual certification in Beaker AP and CP
• Additional Epic certifications (Orders, ClinDoc, Radiant, etc.)
• Experience with multiple go-lives or multi-site rollouts
