Job summary

YMCA Beacons School Success Coordinator position at Richfield High School supports after-school programming and school-based youth development. Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience working with school aged youth.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Commitment to working with school age youth in an enrichment setting.
• Ability to multitask and respond quickly and accurately in a customer focused work environment.
• Ability to work with diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities

• Assists in day-to-day operations of Beacons School Success Center programs with Sr. Coordinator and Program Director.
• Prepare schedules and maintain roster; support staff with ideas and resources; assist in planning large school events.
• Promote Beacons programs in the community and communicate with families, partners, and school staff.
• Input data for evaluation and reporting, including registration, attendance and surveys.
• Ensure safety and staffing compliance; provide training to staff, partners and volunteers.
• Lead program activities as needed and maintain high level of customer service.
• Foster a safe environment for a diverse youth, family and partner community.
