Job summary

CAMBA Inc. is seeking a part-time Outreach Coordinator for a Beacon Community Center in NYC. You will develop outreach plans, recruit participants, and represent the center at community events, building strong ties with schools and partners.

The role requires 2+ years of experience with youth, strong communication, and organizational skills. Proficiency with MS Office, Canva, and social media is expected. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years' experience working with youth.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain client confidentiality.
• Experience presenting to groups of youth, parents, and community stakeholders.
• Proficiency with MS Office, Canva, and social media.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an annual outreach and recruitment plan with the Program Director.
• Conduct ongoing outreach for afterschool, middle and high school activities, and family programs.
• Represent the Beacon Center at community events and meetings.
• Build relationships with schools, parents, and community partners.
• Create outreach materials in languages spoken by the community.
• Track outreach activity and enrollments for funder reporting.
• Maintain program communications and coordinate with CAMBA staff.
• Plan outreach events and maintain a binder of materials.
