Job summary

Tides Folly Beach, part of Avocet Hospitality Group, seeks a Room Attendant to clean and service guest rooms to high standards at our Folly Beach property. The role supports guest satisfaction and requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals who can maintain cleanliness and promptly address guest requests.

Occasional weekends/holidays, teamwork emphasis, and opportunities for growth are highlighted. Compensation includes an hourly wage with bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience: One or two years of housekeeping experience is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers and management to their understanding.
• Ability to clean 15/16 rooms per shift; attention to detail, speed and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Arrive on time with a positive attitude.
• Stock housekeeping cart before and after with guest room supplies.
• Clean bathroom and bedrooms.
• Inspect mattress pads, pillows and bedskirts.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Clean/sanitize room furniture: coffee maker, telephone etc.
• Report any maintenance issues.
• Sweep and mop guest rooms.
