Pelican Grand Beach Resort on Fort Lauderdale Beach is seeking a Pool/Beach Recreation Attendant to warmly greet guests and help them enjoy our beach and pool amenities with attentive, personalized service. Join a fun, fast-paced, diverse team on the Atlantic coast.

You will set up chairs, provide towel service, assist guests, and engage in guest activities while upholding safety. This role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of beach or pool recreation experience.
• Experience with guest interaction in luxury or high-volume resort environments preferred.
• Able to work in hot climates and outdoors.
• Strong communication and guest service mindset.
• Must be flexible with days, hours, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and anticipate requests
• Set up beach/pool chairs and umbrellas with expediency
• Seat guests at pool and beach chairs with professional service
• Provide towel services to all guests
• Replenish guest towels from housekeeping
• Fold towels as needed
• Keep pool and beach areas clean
• Be an active leader with guest activities while ensuring safety
• Engage guests to ensure satisfaction
