Pelican Grand Beach Resort on Fort Lauderdale Beach is seeking a Pool/Beach Recreation Attendant to warmly greet guests and manage beach and pool areas with high standards of service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year beach or pool recreation experience or related luxury/resort experience.
• Experience with event support staff for outdoor guest events or beachside activations is a plus.
• Experience in hot climates or high-sun environments demonstrating comfort outdoors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with guests of all ages.
• Customer service oriented; friendly, proactive in anticipating guest needs.
• Conflict resolution: calm and professional handling of concerns.
• Organizational skills for keeping equipment clean and stored.
• Multi-tasking across towel distribution, chair setup, guest questions.
• Knowledge of beach games, water safety, or rental ops (paddleboards, kayaks).
• Must be passionate interacting with guests and team; flexible with days/hours; weekends required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and anticipate requests
• Set up beach/pool chairs and umbrellas with expediency
• Seat guests at pool/beach chairs with professional customer service
• Provide towel services to all guests
• Replenish guest towels from housekeeping
• Fold towels as needed
• Keep pool and beach areas clean
• Be an active leader with guest activities while ensuring safety
• Converse and engage guests to ensure guest satisfaction
