Calvary Christian Academy in Florida seeks a Beach Volleyball Head Coach to lead our program. This part-time seasonal stipend position mentors student-athletes, designs a program, and prepares them for competition.

The role emphasizes discipleship and character, requiring strong communication, spiritual maturity, and 3+ years coaching beach volleyball, with college or professional playing preferred. Schedule: weekdays in-season 4–5 afternoons; Sundays off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years coaching Beach Volleyball
• Strong commitment to Jesus Christ and Calvary Chapel beliefs
• Excellent communication with students, parents, and staff
• Impeccable reputation in the sport community
• Willingness to mentor and disciple student-athletes
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds

Responsibilities

• Disciple student athletes, demonstrate a commitment to excellence, and display character at all times
• Design plan for the beach volleyball program
• Attend Coaches meetings
• Be accountable for personal growth as well as church, outreach, and family
• Continuing education and mastery of the game (i.e. schemes, techniques)
• Assist with field/weight room/locker room set up and break down
• Counseling resource for the players
