CCA Fort Lauderdale - Assistant Cheer Coach (Temporary/Part Time)

Position Description

JOB TITLE: Assistant Cheer Coach (multiple positions)

DEPARTMENT: Athletics

SEASON/HOURS: Seasonal (hours vary per season)

SALARY/BENEFITS: Varies by position and no benefits are offered for seasonal positions

Sideline for Football (August - November)

Sideline for Basketball (November - March)

Competitive Cheer (October - January)

Purpose Statement: Calvary Coaches create a distinctly Christlike environment by training students to serve sacrificially, lead humbly, and compete with integrity.

Scope: Coaches are responsible for overseeing and directing student-athletes related to practices, games, and community events for their sport. This includes athlete assignments, uniform inventory, coaching athletic techniques appropriate to ability, communication with parents, scheduling, team discipline and mentoring of students.

1 Peter 5:2-3 – Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by compulsion but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; nor as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
