Discovery Land Company is seeking a Beach Supervisor for Dune Deck Beach Club in Westhampton Beach, NY. This seasonal, full-time role runs May 1 to October 9, 2027, supporting the Outdoor Pursuits Department and overseeing lifeguards, attendants, and related staff.

The position requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, a High School diploma or GED (Bachelor's degree preferred), and CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. English communication is essential; remote work is not offered.

Dune Deck Beach Club is seeking a Beach Supervisor to join the Outdoor Pursuits Department. This is a seasonal role available May 1 to October 9, 2027. In this role, you will be part of creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.**Key Responsibilities*** Manage all staff within the department: Lifeguards, Pool & Beach Attendants, Outdoor Pursuits Attendants, Kids Camp Attendants specifically in the absence of the Beach Manager.* Scheduling, training and on-going feedback of all direct reports.* Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment* Attend off site excursions and field trips with Members* Actively monitor budget and variance reports with Director of Outdoor Operations* Generate daily reports of activities throughout department for Beach Manager* Provide risk management for all activities and outdoor/indoor spaces throughout department.* Perform first aid treatments when necessary.* Attend meetings and trainings as necessary.* Any other duties as assigned.**Competencies for Success in the Role*** Regularly work with other departments or projects and frequently in a team environment* Make decisions with a team and independantly while always putting member and staff safety first.* Delivers results - getting things done on time and accurately during the busiest of times while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor.* Strategic thinking – ability to make decions in a demanding environment.**Qualifications*** Obtain and maintain active Discovery 4 Life and American Red Cross CPR, AED, First Aid certifications.* Strong verbal and written communiction in English, additional languages helpful.* High School diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor degree preferred.* Supervisory experience, 1-3 years* Understanding of Guest Service in luxury level resort or private club setting**Additional Requirements*** Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.* Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
