Join the Top Cardiology Team in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Hillcrest Healthcare System’s Oklahoma Heart Institute

We are seeking a forward-thinking, passionate, engaging BE/BC non-invasive cardiologist to join our comprehensive, high-quality, multidisciplinary heart center. The ideal candidate will be motivated to help grow the program and achieve their professional goals, with opportunities for professional growth given the wide range of services offered.

The selected physician will alternate rounding and call duties for holidays and weekends as part of a collegial team. This team includes specialists in advanced heart failure, electrophysiology, structural heart, CVT surgery, vascular surgery, and interventional cardiology. This is an excellent opportunity to establish yourself quickly and access advanced imaging reads.

Clinic Environment

The non-invasive cardiology clinic is collegial, multidisciplinary, and efficient, with collaboration across structural interventional cardiology, cardiac surgery, advanced heart failure, and cardiac imaging. Patients are seen on the same day for structural interventional procedures, cardiac surgery, and imaging, providing a streamlined service. The referral base is extensive, including practices from Tulsa and neighboring states, covering simple to complex valve issues.

Hospital Culture

The hospital culture reflects the clinic’s collaborative environment. We offer all cardiology services in a large community hospital (~800 beds), functioning as a tertiary care center with subspecialty services, including heart transplantation.

Position Details

• Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
• Medically Underserved Area, HPSA Score 12
• Inpatient/Outpatient mix with 500+ annual volumes
• Team: 17 Physicians, 6 Nurse Practitioners, 5 Physician Assistants, support staff
• Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm (2 clinic days + APP support)
• Daily Patient Load: 20-25
• Rotating after-hours clinic call
• EMR: Epic

Minimum Qualifications

• ABIM Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology
• Fellowship training in Non-Invasive Cardiology
• Necessary clinical procedures and certifications
• Skills in stress testing, ECG/EKG, and general clinical cardiology
• Preferred but not required: Imaging, Diagnostic Caths, TEE, advanced imaging certifications
• Compliance with DEA, OBNDD, and state requirements
• Open to experienced and fellow non-invasive cardiologists
