Join the top cardiology team in Tulsa, Oklahoma at Hillcrest Healthcare System’s Oklahoma Heart Institute! We are seeking a forward-thinking, passionate, engaging BE/BC non-invasive cardiologist to join our comprehensive, high-quality, multidisciplinary heart center.

We are looking for a candidate interested in helping grow the program while achieving their professional goals. The ideal candidate will be motivated to continue to build on their training and expand their skill set. The selected physician will alternate rounding and call for holidays and weekends as part of a collegial team. Be part of a team that includes advanced heart failure, electrophysiology, structural heart, CVT surgery, vascular surgery, and interventional cardiology. The non-invasive cardiology clinic is collegial, multidisciplinary, and efficient, with strong collaboration across various specialties. Structural interventional cardiology and cardiac surgery see patients on the same day, often with same-day imaging, providing streamlined care. We serve a referral base from Tulsa and neighboring regions, handling cases from straightforward valve issues to complex cases.

The hospital culture reflects this collaborative environment. We offer all cardiology subspecialties within a large community hospital (~800 beds), serving as a tertiary care center with services including heart transplantation.

About this Non-Invasive Cardiologist Position:

1. Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
2. Medically Underserved Area, HPSA Score 12
3. Inpatient/Outpatient mix with annual volumes of 500+
4. Part of a single-specialty group: 17 Physicians, 6 Nurse Practitioners, 5 Physician Assistants
5. Referring providers include primary care, internal medicine, and subspecialties
6. Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am-5pm, with 2 clinic days plus APP support
7. Daily patient load: 20-25
8. Rotating after-hours clinic call for work-life balance
9. EMR: Epic

Minimum Qualifications:

1. ABIM Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease
2. Fellowship training in Non-Invasive Cardiology
3. Necessary clinical procedures and certifications
4. Proficiency in stress testing, ECG/EKG, and general cardiology diagnostics
5. Preferred but not required: imaging, TEE, diagnostic caths, and certification in imaging
6. Compliance with DEA, OBNDD, and state requirements
7. Open to experienced and early-career non-invasive cardiologists
