Job summary

CAE Inc. is seeking an BE‑400 Instructor Pilot to develop confident, highly skilled pilots through world‑class simulator and ground school instruction in Orlando. You will lead clients through CAE‑approved curriculum, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong customer service.

You’ll instruct for licenses, type ratings, and certifications, maintain records, and contribute to curriculum development. Expect growth as you advance toward evaluator roles and occasional international travel, while

Qualifications

• 3,000+ hours of total flight time.
• 2–5 years of job-relevant experience.
• Must be authorized to live/work in the United States.
• Hold an unrestricted ATP certificate and one unrestricted PIC type rating.
• Excellent fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flight simulator and ground school training in accordance with standards and customer requirements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert guiding clients through training phases.
• Provide simulator, flight, and classroom instruction for licenses, type ratings, certificates, and pilot qualifications.
• Conduct thorough pre‑ and post‑flight simulator briefings.
• Complete required administrative tasks, training records, and monitoring instructor qualifications.
• Support curriculum and courseware development as an SME when required.
• After ~1.5+ years, qualify as Training Center Evaluator and contract check airman.
• Participate in training programs that may include international travel.
