Job summary

Marvel Games, part of Disney, is seeking an Associate Manager, Business Development in Burbank, CA. You will join a strategic team building partnerships and managing deals for Marvel IP across mobile, PC, console, and emerging tech.

The role requires 4+ years in games business development and a strong grasp of the industry, business models, and cross-functional collaboration. A Bachelor’s in business, marketing or finance is expected; MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

4+ years in business development, licensing, partnerships, strategy or related functions within games (publisher, developer, platform, agency, or IP holder).
Strong understanding of video game industry, platforms, genres, and business models (F2P, premium, subscription).
Emotional intelligence driving relationships via excellent communication and empathy.
Desire to overdeliver and produce high-quality work.
Analytical mindset with both quantitative (Excel) and qualitative (trends) analysis.
Passion for Marvel characters and stories.

Responsibilities

Join a strategically minded team to develop best-in-class games with leading developers.
Partner with senior leaders to grow Marvel Games’ footprint through existing and new opportunities.
Support end-to-end deal process for Marvel IP in games, including negotiations and contract execution.
Evaluate inbound and outbound opportunities for strategic fit and commercial viability.
Own and maintain internal tracking for prospective, in-progress, and executed deals.
Build data-informed business cases for Marvel's long-term gaming strategy with Finance and Strategy teams.
Coordinate with TWDC international teams to support partner success in growth markets.
