Granger Construction in Detroit is seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our Metro Detroit team in Corktown. You will work with our Business Development and regional leadership teams to strengthen relationships, coordinate client and industry engagement, and help keep momentum moving behind the scenes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in business development, marketing coordination, client relations, executive support, office coordination, or a related role.
• Strong organization and the ability to keep multiple priorities moving at once.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• A professional, relationship-focused approach when interacting with customers and community partners.
• Strong initiative and follow-through. You notice what needs to happen and help make it happen.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and CRM tools.
• Ability to occasionally travel for client meetings, conferences, networking opportunities, and industry events.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

• Help build relationships across Metro Detroit by supporting client engagement and business development initiatives.
• Represent Granger at select industry organizations, conferences, networking opportunities, sponsorships, and community events.
• Coordinate client meetings and business development activities, maintain CRM and client information, track follow-ups, and ensure momentum.
• Support market research, client intelligence, competitive insights, and conference strategy.
• Collaborate with Marketing & Communications on presentations, project information, client materials, and event needs.
• Keep the Corktown office organized, welcoming, and ready for customers and teammates.
