BCTV Production Assistants (Part-Time)

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Production Assistant will attend productions and record shows to air on BCTV. They will gain knowledge and experience in television production, directing, running a camera, generating graphics, operating audio and editing programs to air on BCTV. This is an entry-level position for an individual who intends to pursue a career in film or television.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Production, direction, and editing of programs to air on BCTV


• Train and supervise volunteers


• Be a team player


• Develop ideas and script programs


• Any other duties assigned by the Assistant Station Manager or Production Manager
