Job summary

UKG is seeking a BCP Blast Operator to operate and maintain blast machines and related equipment in a hot, loud, industrial environment. You will track shot usage, log data, and communicate issues with the finishing departments to ensure smooth production flow.

The role requires independence, adaptability to production needs, and adherence to strict safety guidelines. Overtime and 10–12 hour shifts are expected, with a second shift from 3:00 pm to 1:00 am and incremental pay.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
• Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to tolerate hot working conditions and a loud environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be comfortable working in small spaces.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor blast machines, shot mix and general operation of the blasts.
• Operate the reclaim blast machine.
• Track the amounts of good shot recovered, waste metal and removal of the waste sand.
• Maintain daily operation board and record data for the board.
• Communicate blast machine issues, maintenance issues and order issues to management.
