Job summary

Avanza ABA in Michigan is hiring a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead and oversee ABA treatment plans for children with autism in homes and a newly opened Lansing treatment center. You will conduct assessments, supervise technicians, monitor progress, and ensure data-driven decisions while maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

Qualifications

• BCBA certification, or nearing completion to sit for BCBA exam.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide feedback, training, and support to Behavior Technicians.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a clinical team.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Physical ability to work in an active environment, including lifting up to 25 lbs and assisting clients.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee individualized ABA treatment plans.
• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments using VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, AFLS, Vineland.
• Provide ongoing training, supervision, and feedback to Behavior Technicians and RBTs.
• Perform data-based treatment decisions and progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with families and team members across settings.
• Complete treatment reports and clinical documentation per payer requirements.
