Job summary

Applied ABC seeks a dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in Des Moines, IA, for per diem or full-time options. The role entails designing and supervising ABA-based interventions, collecting and reviewing data, and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure effective outcomes.

The candidate will lead treatment planning, train staff, and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation across settings, with a strong emphasis on ethical practice and client-centered care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree preferred; BCBA licensure required.
• Experience with children with developmental disabilities or autism.
• Strong data collection and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and craft intervention plans.
• Implement evidence-based ABA techniques to promote skill development and reduce maladaptive behaviors.
• Collect, analyze, and document data to track progress and adjust treatment strategies.
• Collaborate with families, educators, and health professionals to ensure consistency across settings.
• Provide training and supervision to therapists and staff to maintain quality of service.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of client records.
• Participate in intake, set treatment goals, and perform ongoing patient assessments.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation including progress notes and reports.
