Job summary

Milford School District is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for an 11-month position in Milford. The BCBA will develop and oversee behavioral interventions, conduct assessments, and collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams.

The role includes supervising RBTs, designing treatment plans, and ensuring data-driven progress while complying with state and federal regulations. Starting August 2026; application open until filled.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Special Education or related field.
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BACB) credential.
• Experience with psychological and educational testing and evaluation.
• Knowledge of state and federal special education regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation and intervention for behavior management and assessment of behavioral needs of special education students.
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments and design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans.
• Supervise and support Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) when applicable.
• Prepare written reports for district and outside professionals re: behavioral concerns.
• Consult with school staff on behavior management techniques for individual students.
• Lead professional development on behavior management, progress monitoring, data collection, and social skills.
• Design and monitor emotional support programs and contribute to IEP teams.
