Devereux's BCBA role in West Chester, PA offers a 12-month position focusing on evidence-based behavior change for students with disabilities, within a multidisciplinary team.

You will provide direct support to staff, conduct FBAs/BSPs, participate in IEP meetings, and advise on best practices, with opportunities for CEU credits and professional growth.

Competitive salary: BCBA annual compensation $85,000-$96,900 plus a $2,000 sign-on bonus; benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in psychology, special education or related field.
• Board Certification in Behaviour Analysis or eligible to sit for exam.
• Prior experience working with students with special needs.
• Prior experience writing FBAs, BSPs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct assistance to educational staff, administrators, behaviorists, students and parents in the areas of behavior change using Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Provide individual and group trainings; conduct and support functional behavior assessments and analyses; develop positive behavior support plans; ensure fidelity of implementation of behavior plans.
• Advise behaviorists, teachers and administrators regarding best practices and regulations.
• Work as a collaborative consultant with school and agency personnel; provides expertise regarding behavior modification in complex cases; participates in IEP meetings; and becomes a member of the PDE behavior intervention committee.
• Provide services and documents that are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations for school based services. Services and documents are based on best practices within Applied Behavior Analysis, research validated methods, and PDE supported procedures and materials.
