Job summary

My Team ABA MD LLC in Baltimore, MD seeks a Clinical Director — Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to lead strategic growth initiatives and expand service presence. The BCBA must have active certification and Maryland license to support Medicaid and commercial payer credentialing.

You will drive partnerships, manage multiple expansion projects, and collaborate with operations and clinical teams to streamline processes and improve outcomes for children with autism.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Education, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or related field.
  • 2+ years in business development, partnerships, or strategic growth in ABA.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven project management experience with multiple initiatives.
  • BCBA with active certification and MD licensure required.
  • Experience engaging with Medicaid and commercial payers is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and maintain strategic relationships with Medicaid and commercial insurers to secure credentialing and favorable reimbursement.
  • Navigate payer credentialing processes and onboarding for ABA services.
  • Represent the organization at payer meetings, conferences, and stakeholder events.
  • Support hiring initiatives to onboard staff, including BCBAs and RBTs.
  • Lead outreach to healthcare providers, schools, and community partners to increase referrals.
  • Develop proposals and business cases for growth opportunities.

Clinical Director — Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Job Description

The BCBA - Clinical Director will lead strategic growth initiatives focused on expanding My Team ABA's service presence in Baltimore, MD. The Clinical Director must hold active BCBA certification and will support growing the agency's network participation for both Medicaid and commercial insurance payers. The Clinical Director will require strong project management skills, experience with ABA agency expansion, and Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) expertise to drive initiatives that enhance partnerships, streamline internal processes, and expand the network of individuals receiving quality ABA services.

Here's what we need from you:
  • Education: Master's degree in Education, Behavioral Science, Psychology, or related field.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated success in business development, partnerships, or strategic growth roles within the field of ABA.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build relationships
  • Proven experience in project management with ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with active certification required.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst with the State of Maryland.
  • Experience engaging with Medicaid and commercial payers, including credentialing and contracting preferred.
  • Organizational Behavior Management (OBM) expertise or related training preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and data reporting platforms preferred.
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance, HIPAA regulations, and managed care structures preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, pursue, and maintain strategic relationships with Medicaid and commercial insurers to secure provider credentialing, participation agreements, and favorable reimbursement structures.
  • Navigate insurance networks, payer credentialing processes, and managed care organizations to onboard ABA services effectively.
  • Represent the organization at payer meetings, industry conferences, and stakeholder events to enhance market awareness and build long-term collaborations.
  • Support hiring initiatives to onboard staff including behavior analysts, behavior technicians, etc.
  • Lead outreach efforts to referral sources—including healthcare providers, schools, community agencies, and advocacy organizations—to increase awareness and referral volume.
  • Contribute to the development of proposals, presentations, and business cases for growth opportunities.
