Job description

JD McCarty Center is an organization that provides inpatient and outpatient therapy services to children with developmental disabilities. We are currently seeking an energetic and child-centered Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team.

Position requires a 40‑hour work week with standard hours Monday through Friday 8:00 am–4:00 pm. This job does not require or promote more than a 40‑hour work week; if you exceed an 8‑hour day you can trade that time out for the rest of the week.

Salary beginning at $70,000.00 per year and will be based on experience.

Job Responsibilities
  • Supervise and provide training for all Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians, and train staff on how to implement ABA principles.
  • Provide training and support for interns studying to become BCBAs.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments.
  • Identify behavior strategies and interventions to reduce maladaptive behaviors and replace them with suitable skills.
  • Collaborate across disciplines (Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy, etc.) to develop the child’s individualized treatment plan.
  • Attend JDMC functions related to promotional outings and marketing events for ABA services.
  • Collect data and complete daily session notes and billing in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assist the Director of ABA Services and the ABA Program Manager with outpatient ABA wait list.
  • Conduct intake processes including parent interviews, collaboration with school and other therapies, physicians, and insurance requirements.
  • Coordinate and provide presentations, education, and training to all departmental staff, and maintain department orientation, in‑service training, and workshop records.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Maintain all current certifications, including Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), Oklahoma Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA), QBS Safety Care, and CPR/First Aid.
  • Learn and grow while working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong time‑management skills and the ability to think quickly in unexpected situations.
  • Physical demands may include assisting with lifting, holding, or positioning clients with disabilities, sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods, standing or bending repeatedly throughout the day, and assisting with living skills such as feeding, toileting, showering, and/or dressing.
  • Run one‑on‑one sessions with clients when RBTs are not available.
