Job summary

Ability Builders Consulting Co. is hiring a BCBA to conduct assessments, develop individualized behavior support plans, and supervise ABA therapy services for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs in Polk County, Lakeland area.

The role offers growth with the opportunity to expand hours to full-time, and work in home, clinic, school, or community settings with hybrid or remote options depending on the case. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Active BCBA certification through BACB.
• Master’s degree in ABA or related field with supervised hours.
• Experience developing and implementing behavior plans for individuals with developmental and behavioral needs.
• Background check required; Florida Medicaid provider number preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior plans.
• Oversee implementation of treatment plans with clear caregiver instruction.
• Provide supervision and training to BCaBAs, ABA therapists and caregivers.
• Track progress via data collection and analysis; adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to support ongoing success.
• Manage caseloads, maintain documentation, and coordinate with other professionals.
