Job summary

SchoolHouse Staffing seeks an Assistant Clinical Director (BCBA) in Phoenix, AZ, to lead clinically while maintaining an active client caseload. You will mentor RBTs, supervise staff, and collaborate with senior leadership to shape center culture.

The role blends clinical leadership with hands-on care, enabling growth in clinical quality, family engagement, and team development within a growing behavioral health organization.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field.
• Active BCBA or BCBA-D certification.
• Arizona LBA credential or eligibility to obtain it.
• Minimum of 2 years post-certification BCBA experience in center/clinical setting.
• Experience supervising RBTs and conducting competency assessments.
• Strong behavioral assessment skills with tools like VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an active center-based client caseload.
• Conduct and oversee clinical assessments (VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Vineland, or equivalent).
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor client progress and use data to guide decisions.
• Conduct parent and caregiver training.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Supervise, mentor, and support RBTs and Behavior Technicians.
• Conduct competency assessments and provide ongoing clinical feedback.
• Support development of clinical skills and professional growth of team.
• Promote consistent implementation of treatment plans and standards.
• Support a collaborative, ethical, client-centered culture.
• Assist with center scheduling and day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with leadership on quality initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen clinical processes and outcomes.
