Gracent Pediatric Therapy in St. Charles, IL is seeking a BCBA in training to join our clinical team as an Assistant Clinical Coordinator and BT/RBT. You will assist the BCBA/Clinic Director with supervision for a caseload of clients and maintain a role as a Behavior Therapist for part of your schedule.

You’ll lead BT/RBT onboarding and ongoing training, participate in intakes and discharges, and document notes, assessments, and treatment summaries in our EMR after each session.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in graduate-level ABA courses and pursuing BCBA certification.
• At least 1 year of ABA therapy experience with Autism.
• Active RBT certification with BACB.
• Background in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills with ability to learn EMR.

Responsibilities

• Assist the BCBA/Clinic Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload.
• Serve as Behavior Therapist for approximately half of the hours.
• Lead BT/RBT training classes for onboarding and ongoing training.
• Support intake and discharge processes as part of caseload management.
• Document notes, assessments and treatment summaries after each session in the EMR.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across ABA, Neuropsychology, OT, PT, SLP, and Mental Health.

At Gracent Pediatric Therapy in St. Charles, IL, is looking for a BCBA in training to join our team. In this role, you will work as a Registered Behavior Technician, while also assisting the Clinical Director with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. You must currently be enrolled in a graduate-level ABA course and working towards your BCBA certification.

Who makes a great BCBA in training?

• You are enrolled or completed ingraduate-level ABA courses, and actively working towards certification as a BCBA
• You have1 year experience of conducting ABA therapy with clients with Autism
• Those who know you describe you as havingunflappable patience and compassion. Autism affects each person in diverse ways, and you will need to provide consistent, calm care and follow-up.
• You have an activeRBT certification with the BACB
• You have abackground in teaching, assisting, counseling, or coaching.
• You are comfortable working in a fast pace environment

What does a Assistant Clinical Coordinator / BCBA apprentice do?

The Assistant Clinical Coordinator is responsible for assisting the BCBA/Clinic Director team with unrestricted supervision activities for a caseload of clients. In addition to this responsibility, the ACC is required to maintain a role as a Behavior Therapist for approximately half the hours. The ACC will lead Behavior Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) training classes for onboarding and ongoing training.
